AI labs license the support tickets, team chat and workflows already sitting in your tools. We find the buyer and run the deal. You keep the business and the data.

AI models have read the public internet. What they have not seen is how real work gets done inside a company. That is what labs now pay for.
$50K to $1M+
The range AI data buyers publicly quote per company, depending on data type, volume and exclusivity.*
$0 upfront
The assessment is free. Our fee is paid only when a license is signed.
100% yours
You license a de-identified copy. The business, the systems and the data stay with you.
What buyers want
Not a spreadsheet. The whole job.
Three kinds of record teach a model how a role does its work.
01
Operational records
SOPs, knowledge bases, CRM histories, project logs and QA processes. The written memory of how your company runs.
02
Decision trails
How your team weighs information and makes the call: approvals, escalations, refunds and exceptions.
03
Cross-system workflows
One task followed across every tool it touched, from the first ticket to the final update.
One workflow, six linked records
This is the unit buyers pay most for
1. Customer complaint
2. Order lookup
3. Warehouse check
4. Refund approved
5. CRM updated
6. Customer confirms
A file of 500,000 reviews teaches a model very little. This chain teaches it how to do a job, which is why linked systems are worth more than any single export.

What we will not broker
Customer lists or contact databases
Scraped or purchased data
Data you do not hold the rights to
Records that cannot be de-identified
Process
Four steps. We do the work.
Run the same way we run a business sale.
1- Get a free assessment
A short call. We map your systems, history and volume, and tell you plainly if there is a deal here.
20 minute call
2- Buyer match
We take your profile to data buyers with a live mandate for your industry and data type.
Vetted buyers only
3- Quote and rights check
You get a written quote. We check the license against your privacy policy and contracts before you commit.
Quote in writing
4- Sign and get paid
You approve every data package before it moves. You get paid. Then we do.
You sign off first
Privacy and control
Nothing moves until you say so.
Four things are agreed in writing before any data is shared.
Scope and exclusions
You choose which systems, teams and date ranges are in. Everything else stays out.
Anonymization and redaction
Names, emails, phone numbers and account details are removed before data leaves your environment.
Security and permitted use
Encrypted transfer, logged access, and use limited to training and evaluating AI models.
The final word is yours
Your sign off
A named owner on your side approves every data package before it moves.
No sign off, no transfer.
Who it is for
Teams whose data is in demand.
Examples of what a data package can draw on in each one.
E-commerce and DTC
Support threads, order and returns workflows, inventory logs, supplier and 3PL coordination.
Marketing agencies
Client briefs, statements of work, campaign builds, reporting and approval cycles.
Customer support
Ticket histories with resolution tags, macros, escalations and QA reviews.
Sales and CRM
Pipeline records, call notes, proposals and follow ups.
Logistics and 3PL
Shipping manifests, dispatch logs, exception handling, carrier and warehouse comms.
Software and engineering
Tickets, code review, incident response and release notes.
Pricing
What moves the number.
No two quotes are the same. These are the levers buyers price on.
Volume and history
More years and more records mean a bigger package.
Connected tools
Support, chat and CRM that link into full workflows beat any single export.
Uniqueness
Specialist work that is hard to find elsewhere is worth more than generic admin.
Exclusivity
Some buyers ask to be the only licensee. That is a term with a price, and we negotiate it.
Refresh cadence
A one time package pays once. Ongoing updates can turn a license into recurring revenue.
Who we are
The brokerage behind it.
Wasabi Data is run by the team at Sell Wasabi, the e-commerce brokerage founded by Daniel Kenny. A data license gets the same treatment as a business sale: verified numbers, a clean process, and a fee only when you get paid.
Data licensing is a new line for us. Brokering deals is not.
100+
Business sales the Wasabi team has been involved in
No. Buyers license de-identified operational records to train and evaluate AI models. Customer and employee identities are stripped before anything leaves your environment.
Could my data be used to compete with me?
Buyers are not after your strategy. They want to learn how a role does its work, like a support agent or a finance lead. You also decide what is in scope, so anything sensitive stays out.
Who owns the data after a deal?
You do. A license is permission to use a copy for a defined purpose. It is not a sale of your data or your business, and you sign off on each package.
What happens to the data once it is licensed?
The license sets this. The terms we look for limit use to training and evaluating AI models, keep the data confidential and keep your company unnamed.
How much do you charge?
We charge 0 upfront fees. We earn a success fee when a license is signed. If there is no deal, there is no bill.
How am I paid, and how fast?
It varies by buyer. Some pay once on delivery. Others pay an upfront fee plus a share of downstream revenue. Buyers publish timelines of two to four weeks from signed agreement to payment, but your own quote sets the real one.
How much will I actually get?
It depends on the buyer, the data and the terms. Many companies will not qualify. You will know where you stand after the assessment, with a written quote before any commitment.
Can I license to more than one buyer?
It depends on the terms. Some buyers ask for exclusivity, which should raise the price. We lay out both options before you choose.
I am planning to sell my business. Does this affect that?
It can. A data license is a contract a buyer of your company will review. We broker both kinds of deal, so tell us first and we will sequence them properly.
We are outside the US, or work in another language. Can we apply?
Yes, but be realistic. Buyers currently prioritize US companies working in English, then other Western markets. One call will tell you where you stand.
Find out what your data is worth.
Send us your company name, headcount and the tools you run on. One call tells you where you stand.
